Enoch Simmons

Enoch Simmons b. 1809 TN, no written information Enoch was of Cherokee decent, but family stories indicate he was involved with the movement of Cherokess in 1837 as a scout or interpreter. Enoch later settled in Jackson Co. Alabama. I am looking for any info on him or his family.
