Finding Family

Greetings,
I'm researching my family tree. There are many variations of our name MURTEAUGH, MURTOUGH, MURTHOE, MURTAUGH, MURTHOUGH, AND MURTHA.

>>Thomas Murtaugh,1825.marrried Catherine Costello/Cortollo
>>Daniel P.Murthough,1851. Miramichi,NB. Canada. married Mary Savage, daughter of Lt. Col. Henry John Savage, Commanding Royal Engineers,at Halifax, NS Canada from 21 July 1848 to June 1854.Fort George on the Citadel was still in process of construction.Sometime in the 1860's he retired to Annapolis Royal NS.
Daniel Murthough lived for a time at Miramichi in NB which would lead one to assume he had a close connection with the Murtha's of Glenelg Parish.
Children of Daniel & Catherine >> Mary C.1877, Elizabeth B.1879, Alice 1881, Elvira 1884, Oratio C.1882, Henry Burton H.1888 ,Homer 1890, Allan 1890, and Arthur P.1896, my Grand Father.
I would be grateful for information on any of these lines.
