mosolygo
Posted by Liz Smith <aglaraelin@yahoo.com> on Tue, 13 Apr 2004
My great grandfather's name was Imre Mosolygo (b. 1880) when he came to the United States with his parents in 1909. They came from Austria-Hungary, from a city called Arad. Are there any members of this site who have family in that area, with that surname? If so, please e-mail me. I have the information I want concerning their lives here in the States, but I want to know about my family back in Europe. We've had a horrible time tracing any family over there.Imre's father's name was Louis, and his mother's was Helen Maurer. He married a Regina Lutz (b. 1883; daughter of Alexander), in 1902. Both Regina and Imre were born in Vienna. Imre was trained as a carpenter by a Hetyik Karoly, from 1898-1899.
This is all I know. If anyone has any information, please let me know.
