Miguez Family

Posted by Merle W. Hilbrich <merlehilbrich@yahoo.com> on Sat, 30 Jun 2007, in response to Miguez, posted by Cecile D. Hebert on Fri, 21 Apr 2006

The ancestor of my mother's mother came from Malaga, Spain in the 1600's, so my source tells me.

When the wind was right, they set sail. Their older boy had
evidently gotten off the ship, so our line came from the younger. My great grandmother's maiden name was Ezilea Miguez. Her sister was Elice and brother was Clerthy.

My grandmother married into the DeRouen family.

One of my mother's cousins was Dudley J. LeBlanc.

Do any of these sound familiar?
