You need to go to the library and get the book "They Tasted Bayou Water" This book tells of Juan Miguez's journey and his signing up to come to Louisiana as a farmer. You may email me if you like, My grandmother was a Miguez from the Delcambre area. I have done the research and I can possibly give you the information you need. Cecile Hebert.
