Family Owned Business

I have been looking for a family member connected with the Metz Furniture Company. It was located in the Chicago, Ill. area in the early 1900's. I have a piece of furniture made by this company and was wondering if it would be worth appraising? If anyone knows of or has heard of this company or has any connection with the Metz family or the Metz Furniture Company, please contact me.
