Meyer family in New York State

I would like to locate all of the Meyer's, in the United States, who came from Trausnitz, Germany. My family came over in 1889, but there is still a Meyer family there. They tell me that a Karl Meyer, who settled in the Buffalo or Rochester,NY area, also came from Trausnitz. I would particularly like to locate his family.
