Metz Furniture

My late wife and I bought a Metz dining room set in 1966 at Rubin's Furniture Co. in Philadelphia. It includes table with three 15-inch leaves, two captain's chairs and four side chairs (all with cane backs), credenza with hutch (beveled glass), and wheeled server with extendable top.

This IS a very beautiful set, although my fiancé wants to recover the chair seats--she doesn't like the fabric color!

Someday, I hope my granddaughter will inherit this set.
