I believe my grandmother had 2 brothers William McMahon (eldest) her married a Sarah Bryne they had a daughter called Kate born in 1927? and the other brother called Patrick and 1 younger sister called Bridget. They were from Scariff?. I believe my Great grandmother Mary died young and my Great Grandfather Thomas McMahon remarried Sarah they had a daughter called Kate in 1925?.

I know my grandmother came to England in the 1917 she came with a Honora Torpey. I have looked up the 1901 census and have not found much only that a McM Margaret aged 4 was in Scariff Workhouse? I would be very grateful for any information of my heritage.

    Hoping someone can help please.My great grandfather, James Watson was born in Clare c 1848. James came to australia in c 1864. His father was Thomas Watson from Clare & I would like to know if Thomas Watson, Wife or any other Watsons were living in the Scariff wokhouse.
