McLaughlin Records

Hello from Cold Snowy Michigan.

I am looking for church records for the McLaughlin Family.

John McLaughlin was born in 1760 and they died in New York. He had a son named David McLaughlin who was born 4/3/1786 and died in 1872 possibly in Troy, LaSalle County, IL.

I am looking for church records for birth or baptism. Is there any suggestions or anyone willing to help me find these records.
