The Name "Clifford", or Cliffjord, was originally Danish-(Norse)-->where Vikings are still considered criminals- associated with William the Conquorer's and other's frustrated attempts at Civilizing "Great?" Britain, in and about and after 1068 AD, and the award of lands called CliffFjord, then, to William Fits-osborn, Guardian; with his brother, of William The Conquorer.

However, "Fitz" means "bastard son of" and Os; or Oz o Aus (as with Australia and Austria) means south, and since I paid for my own education (including research abilities), if you want to know more about Cliffords , contact me at marshanmallow@hotmail.com, and I'll apprise you for "free"; because I'm a Christian; of why, I hope, legitimate Cliffords will soon eventually rule the world from the Olympic Village of Vancouver BC Canada. in terms of The enivitable 4th (and final) Reich, New Canada; a model for world peace and The Canadian Dream of everyone skiing, like idiots, and eventual global (once flat?)civilization ultimately defined by Canada's and other major Universities b ut especially and Canada's and other brightest and best scholars, academics, intellectuals and philosophers (including theories of everything). Whom I admire for being paid (for?) by the Canadian/BC governments that refer to Canadians as "human resources", objects/commodities; as if they're not human themselves? Aliens? Like criminals and mosquitoes regard humans as resoures for "booty" (taxes) "blood" (taxes?)?

I can and will research any Anglo/Germanic SirName back to it's origins for free.

However, if you want to better understand the Cliffords in 2006, when for $50 or so in Canada or the pre-paranoid USA, you can but almost any name you want; or any "man?"any woe"man?" can get "married?" to a Clifford: or anyone can adopt Clifford as a legitimate alias (as I did under witness protection), then contact me (us) at bryan_clifford@shaw.ca?

Generally, however, the Clifford "Sir-name" remains unsullied by petty scrutiny from "others"; perhaps because of our sense of (English) humor includes a Biblical "go love thyselves" Re. 22:22?
