Magnus/Munns genealogy

Would welcome information from anyone with knowledge of the Munns family or Magnus family. Family tradition says Bertha Magnus was a Cherokee from Oklahoma who married Charles Munns, a black man from Louisiana. Their daughter Beatrice Munns married a man named Hartson.
