Jones families in Marion and Pike, MS area (early 1800's)

Has anyone done any research on the Jones family in Marion, MS and Pike, MS counties in the early 1800's?

My gr-gr-gr grandfather was Robert Jones, born in 1818 in Marion County, MS. I am trying to find out who his parents and/or siblings were. I have found several documents from that timeframe and area, but have never been able to establish a relationship to Robert. He lived there until at least 1846 when he married Dedicea Magee (father William Willis Magee). The Magee's were also in the area from the early 1800's.

Here is the Jones data I have ...
- Benjamin Jones, Sr. (and wife Elizabeth) of South Carolina moved to the area around 1811 with sons, Benjamin Jr., William C., Lewis, Daniel, James, and Wiley.
- A "Memorial to Congress by the Citizens of Pearl River (MS)" dated 9/1/1815 is signed by Benjamin Jones, William Jones, and Lewis Jones.
- The 1816 Marion County census shows Benjamin Jones, Sr. with wife and several children still at home. Near by is William C. Jones also with wife and children. Not far is Benjamin Jones, Jr. with wife and children. Next door to Benjamin, Jr. is Thomas Jones (with wife, no children).
- An 1815 Marion County marriage listing for Thomas Jones and Elizabeth Stovall (assuming this is the Thomas Jones listed next door to Benjamin, Jr.).
- Sale of the Estate of Benjamin Jones (Sr.) by William C. Jones, Administrator - dated 9/6/1823. Purchasers were Elizabeth, Lewis, and Daniel Jones.

I would assume that since Robert Jones was born in 1818, that he is related to one of these Jones families, but I have never been able to find any reference to specifically link him to anyone.

If anyone has additional information they would be willing to share, please let me know.
