Hi Marie,
My name is Andrew and no Im not the bloke your looking for sorry. I live in Australia and Im tracing my family tree. From what I have been able to find out so far the Courtnell come from the Portsmith area, with a large proportion being navy. My parents immigrated here in 1970 and my dad was from Birmingham his name is Earnest John. Yours is the first hint of the name in Ireland and I was curious as to where your mum comes from.
