Timney Family

Posted by Gregg Smith <ephraimclampusvitus@hotmail.com> on Fri, 08 Jun 2007

Michael J. Timney (Born about 1850)and wife Mary (Taylor)(Born abt 1848), came to Alliance, Stark County, Ohio sometime between 1870 and 1880.
I cannot find any record of them on ship or becoming citizens of the United States. My Grandmother Margaret (McEachran)Smith is one of their children.
Michael J. Timney worked for the electric railroad and the steam railroad. He later lived or visited the San Francisco area before he vanished. Where did he go ???
Mary Timney had a ranch in Burlingame, California and she was around during the 1906 Earthquake. Her ranch was covered over by the 101 freeway and I do think she moved to Orange County. Where did she go?
I would like to find the immigration records for them and also find out where they ended up...
