Briggs' genealogy
Posted by Lori Briggs Howard <l5m@lisco.com> on Thu, 24 May 2007, in response to BRIGGS family tree. Any Briggs out there????, posted by Frances Morris (Briggs) on Fri, 06 Aug 2004
I, too, am a Briggs... I have been doing the genealogy, and am really diving into it right now... so far, I have where my great greats.. ( who knows how many greats) started out in New York, then gradually got to Iowa, with many stops in between. I know that thru the years, I've been told that we have much Irish in our blood, that 4 Briggs bros came across the waters, and settled here... must have been in New York originally....but I have many grandfathers named John... just wondering if we can make a connection from there to here... feel free to e-mail me.. thanksDisplay message for printing | Print Entire Thread
