birth father

I am not sure where to look... my birth father wanted nothing to do with me when I was born.. my birth mother died when I was very small and I was adopted at about 18 months old. Somewhere out there I have a blood family and I want and need to find them. I feel as if part of me is missing at times, Doesn't anyone wonder what happened to me?
