Hi im looking for information on my biological great grandfather Donald Campbell Briggs born between 1875-1895 date and place of birth unknown and my grandfather John campbell Briggs Born 1916 place of birth unknown.
The only information I have through a marriage certificate I ordered, is John married my grandmother Joyce murray Wastling may 1937 in Hull yorkshire,uk and his father Donald was deceased, They had a son My father Micheal Briggs who was born feb 1938, they lived at 121 5th Avenue yorkshire Uk John was a painter & decorater.
Has a young child I was told we were desendents of american red indians, my father micheal is of mixed race white and indian, and myself and two brothers also have a mild tanned complextions,
How ever the marriage between John & Joyce broke up and she later married a Robert (BOB) Marshall in which my father micheal became known as micheal briggs or Marshall when he married my mother in southampton uk 1958,
If you have any information that can help me find Donald campbell & John campbell briggs I'd be very greatful.
Kind regards Sharon.
