how to get on the role

Posted by Kristi Potter <pink8@cox.net> on Mon, 26 Jun 2006, in response to need help finding cherokee indian role numbers, posted by Pam on Sat, 30 Jul 2005

I was adopted and when I found my birth parents I found out that I am Cherokee indian. My dads name is not on my birth certificate but he admits that he is my father. He is not on the role but said that his uncle Russell White was on the role. He has been gone for several years now so I can not discuss this with him. I would like to claim my heritage not only for myself but for my children. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to get on the role.
Thank you
Kristi Potter
