Solon Tyrrell
Posted by Mary Haglund <maglundh@yahoo.com> on Thu, 13 Apr 2006, in response to Tyrrell family, posted by Joyce Tyrrell D'Hondt on Fri, 30 May 2003
Hi,
I had a great-uncle named Solon Tyrrell from Detroit. His mother was Elizabeth (Bessie)Parker Meyers. When her first husband, Frederick Meyers, died, she married a Tyrrell and had one son, Solon. He was the half-brother of my grandfather, Russell Meyers (b. 1895, d. 1973). Solon married Margaret (maiden name unknown) and had three children: Roger (b. 1928+/-), Elizabeth, and Joyce. Bessie had a third marriage to Herbert Bryden. Could this be the same Solon you wrote about?
Thanks in advance for any information you can shed on this part of my family.
