Posted by Tim <youdontreally@needto.know> on Tue, 10 Jan 2006, in response to what does my nsme mean?, posted by Stefani Nichols on Wed, 27 Oct 2004
Stefani is Ittalian, Coming from the name Stefano, Which is Latin for Steven. Which means "crown" in the ancient times this was a prestigeous name (For obvious reasons) and was hence rather popular.
Nichols is an americanised version of Nichol, from nicholas which means "To conquer" The name became popular after some orthodox preist in the 14th century, who i can only assume was a tough cookie.
