family name

I was born in manchester england in 1965,my father was thomas joseph melia,brother of john ,mary ,peggy ,katie.They came to manchester from liverpool in the early 60s, family motto TERRA MARIQUE POTENS (powerful by land and sea)I hope this is of some intrest to the melia clan out there.
