It's me again Matthew

Posted by Elaine Billings <ebbb1147@aol.com> on Mon, 21 Mar 2005, in response to Dineen/Deneen Family Cork/Kerry, posted by Matthew Dineen on Mon, 21 Mar 2005

I am looking at two death documents that Patrick paid for. It says, Calvery and Allied Cemeteries,Archdiocese of NY. It also says, address all communications to: The Trustees of St. Patrick's Cathedral if that helps you. He bought two plots for forty dollars each, isn't that amazing. Anyway, they say Plot 2 Section 50 Range was left blank. Number 17 and 18. Patrick's address looks like 517 Leonand St. Are either of your parents still alive so you could ask them any questions or tell them what I am telling you. They probably are closer to my age 56. My mother gave me a little bit more information. The last place my mother and her family lived was, Ozone Park in Queens. Did any of your family live there or close to there? The kids that were not living at home did not go with them to Tupper Lake, their names are Marion Dineen who married a Jim McKenna they have both passed. The other sister who stayed down there is Margaret she married Charles DeGroot they lived in Hempstead, I think thats the name of town. Margaret is living in Tupper Lake now she is 80 something and my Aunt Alice is there also she is around 75. I will tell you Patrick's second wife's name, it was Eleanor Thompson, they married on July 31, 1920 they didn't have any children together, but she had children from a first marriage. They were married at Church of St. Thomas Apostle in Woodhaven 21 NY in the presence of John and Catherine Godsil? I think that is how the last name is spelled. So Mary Dineen (maiden name ?) is dated on this paper as January 4, 1918. Well, when you stayed in Old Forge, that is not very far away from where we live. We go there a lot for vacations it's only about one hour north for us, my husband and me that is. Our children have gone there with us also, but they live farther away. My son lives in Ghent, NY he is in BCI for New York State Police. My first daughter lives in Scotia, NY she is in nursing school, and my youngest daughter is still trying to figure out, "what she wants to be when she grows up" she lives in Glenn Falls NY. Well, maybe I gave you some informations that will help you and it didn't seem important to me. Keep in touch.
Elaine
