Our Dineen Family's

Posted by Elaine Billings <ebbb1147@aol.com> on Fri, 18 Mar 2005, in response to Dineen/Deneen Family Cork/Kerry, posted by Matthew on Sat, 06 Mar 2004

Matthew,
I sent you more information last night, but I'm not sure I think I sent it to e-mail. I am not very good at this search thing, I only started doing this kind of searching about one or two weeks ago. Anyway, there were some more things I can tell you. First of all and I don't know why I didn't give you this last little piece of information on my great-grandfather's baptism but here it is. There was also a cleryman signature his name was Patrick Barton pp (That's what the spelling looks like to me.) We still don't know Patrick's first wife's last name, but we think she was buried in Calvary Cemetery on January 4,1918. But, Patrick has three sons: Frances, william, and Charles. My grandmother Edna Dingivan married Frances Dineen and they had one Son named Bill Dineen who became a police officer in NYC he was murdered. Anyway Frances died while my grandfather William was over seas during WW1 he had not yet met my grandma Edna, when he came back from the war, he went to meet her and his newphew Bill and pay his condolences. Yadda,Yadda,Yadda they got married and had eight living children their names are: Mary, Margaret, Marion, Lillian, Eleanor (my mother) Alice, Frances, Thomas Dineen. They are all still alive except for Marion. My mom is 76 and I sure would love to find out about her family.
