Hello
This is a long shot, but I will ask anyway. I'm trying to find my great grandmother Nellie / Nell Smith b. 1847 NJ, she died in 1926 Kansas, married John W. Ames of New York. Her parents are listed as both born in Ireland on the census. I don't have any idea what the names were for her parents. Would this Smith line connect with yours? I'm more than happy to share my information.
