Mike Family

Very nice to meet you. I was born in 1960, the youngest of three children born to Eugene Casey (dad) and my mother, Gertrude (formerly Breen). My mom is still with us and she is the youngest daughter of Catherine McTigue Breen, the sister of Mike and your great aunt. These things get me confused quickly! I remember Patirck and Mike's brother Tom, a big fellow who was very friendly and warm. I last saw him at my grandmother's funeral in 1977. I met other members of the McTigue family over the years but to be honest I would need to speak to my mom to sort it all out.

I have a brother, Vincent, born 1954 and a sister, Clare, born in 1956. They live in Florida, both quite near to my mom. Dad passed in 1994, age 69.

It is nice to know the extended family out there. Have you been to Ireland? I went to County Clare and went to a church in Kilamona, I believe, that had a plaque dedicated to Mike McTigue.

Someone should do a movie about him. A colorful, sad, amazing life he led!
