I am searching for any info on my mant times great grandfather. He was born in approximatly 1823 in Ireland. He was convicted of theft and was transpoprted to Tasmania, Australia in approximately 1845, He left behind a wife Margaret 1 child and a brother in Liverpool. He was a roman Catholic. He changed his surname to Graham because of the stigma associated with being a convict.
Can anyone please help me.
