Fordes from County Cork, Ireland

I am the granddaughter of Kathleen Ida Forde, daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Donoghue Forde from County Cork, Ireland. My grandmother came from a family of 16 children:

John, Daniel, Patrick, Michael, Nellie, Minnie, Bridget, Hannah, Julie, etc.

My grandmother was born on April 12, 1886, I believe, and when she was less than 18, she immigrated to the U.S. to live with her sister Hannah Forde Maxwell who lived in the Bronx section of New York City.
