NEVER SEEN MY REAL FATHER

Does anyone know of a man named Michael Kirby. I know he is from Barrow-In-Furness in Cumbria. I really would like to trace him. He is my real father and he left my mother before I was born in 1968, I understand he went to Armley Prison in Leeds in 1968. It would mean a grat deal to me and my family if he where to contact us.
