Madden. Clontuskert

Hello Ray,Nice to here from you all the way from Brisbane. I am in Essex, England, about twenty miles outside London.
Regret I cannot say whether connection with your line or not at this time. I have not really gone back on the Madden line.
I have visited Clontuskert, however, on two occasions and the priest there is a lovely man, Father Finneran and he actually keeps the parish records in his home. I have sat and gone through them but not looking at the name of Madden.
It is possible that if you write to him with your details and perhaps enclose a donation (only a suggestion) plus postage cover he may well look them up for you and be able to tell you of Maddens in the parish at the moment. You could also ring and speak to him. I do not have the details before me at the moment but I know they are available over the internet. If you have trouble finding it come back to me and I will look it up for you. It would be good if we tied our two lines together.
If I can help in any other way drop me an e mail HABaldwin@aol.com
Regards,
Heather Baldwin
