Harland in the NE
Posted by Ian Harland <iwharland@metano.com> on Thu, 21 Oct 2004, in response to Harland Family Tree, posted by Tracey Vincent (Harland) on Tue, 13 May 2003
I am from the NE of England and a Harland. My family all come from the Newcastle area and have lived in Fenham/Dunston and Ponteland. There seems to be a NE bias to the name - there has to be a connection. I have the Harland family bible going back to the 1780's.Responses
