I AM TRING TO FIND OUT IF THERE IS A LINK IN IRELAND FOR MY HUSBAND'S FAMILY. WE HAVE GONE BACK TO HIS GREAT-GREAT GRANDFATHER,JONATHAN L. SMITH BORN IN 1815 AND SETTLED IN SOUTH CAROLINA. HE MARRIED SARAH ANN BEAN BORN ON MARCH 15 1815. THEY CAME TO JASPER CO. TEX IN 1840'S. HE NAMED THE COMMUNITY THAT THEY SETTLED IN ERIN. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THIS FAMILY OR ANY THREAD THAT I CAN SEARCH PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANKS ANN SMITH.
