Name change

Hello all...My name is Patrick and I'm trying to research my dad's side of the family. He is gone as well as the rest of his family. I have as much info from the rest of my family as I can get. It seems my family name was Tobin and my great-grandfather came over with his family and changed the name to Curran. They settled in PA for a while and when my grandfather was a little older, changed the name again and added "O'". Is anyone familiar with this very little info that might be able to help. From PA they moved to Elkins, WV and then to OH. Thanks in an=dvance for all.
