Rosborough family

Posted by Joan Thom <rcthom@aol.com> on Fri, 05 Jul 2002

I've hit a brick wall. My gtgtgrandfather Robert Rosboro(the name spelling in NY) was b.1801c in Ireland, no known parish or county, no known parents or siblings BUT he named his children Alexander, John,Helen (from his wife's family),Edgar,Robert, Martin (wife's family),Charles, William, and James. I am hoping to trace my ancestor thru the names of his children. He migrated to the States either with or under the auspices of Alexander Tourney Stewart, a self made millionaire , b. Lisburn, lived in New York City. Any ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks-JOan Thom
