Ferry Name
Posted by P.J. Ó Domhnaill <solas@gofree.indigo.ie> on Mon, 09 Jun 2003, in response to Ferry/Ferrie, posted by Christa Ereksen on Sun, 04 May 2003
Hi Christa,Ferry or Ó Fearraigh is a common name in many parts of Donegal, especially in the north and northwest of the county. Alas, there are few useful records that go that far back. It might be worthwhile writing a brief letter to the most popular local newspaper, The Donegal News, at Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
Beannacht Dé,
P.J. Ó Domhnaill.
