Murphy genealogy histories

John Murphy came from Ireland when he was about 10 years old. I do not think he came alone but I cannot find his parents. He is found in Beekmantown, NY in 1825 working for Matthew Desmond. He married Elizabeth Edgerton in 1834 and moved to Stockholm, NY to farm and raise his family. He is burried there in 1855. Elizabeth remarried and moved to Hesperia, Michigan. I need--parents for John and Elizabeth. The second husbands name--any descendants of the Murphy children---Lucy Ann; William; James (who went west to ranch); Thomas (My line); Elizabeth; Maryett; John (who fought in Spanish Am war and received a Medal of Honor for his part in sinking the Merrimac in Santiago Harbor) and possibly Henry.
