Looking For Birth Father

I am looking for my birth father. My mother told me his name was Earl John Thornton. I am 34 and have never met him. She got pregnant when she was 17 which would have been in 1975. He would be around 52-57 yrs old I think.
She was living in South Western Ontario Canada at the time. If anyone has any info please email me
