James Briggs, Mississippi, came there from Georgia

James A Briggs, born abt. 1810, came to Miss. from Ga. married Mary A. Little abt. 1828 in Rankin Co., Miss. She was dtr. of Robert Little and Mary Spikes. She was born 20 May 1812 in Tombigbee, Smith Lodge, MS territory, and died abt. 1870. They had 8 children. I am trying to find out who James Briggs' parents were.
