HARLANDS

Hello Andrew,
Oliver John Davison Harland was my grandfather on my mothers side,he was born in Willington Durham at 13 Chapel Street 13.8.1889,Olivers father was Jeremiah Thomas Harland born 28th Sept 1860 Aycliffe Durham, Jeremiah Thoma`s father was Jeremiah Harland mother Isabella Harland (Robinson)he dropped the Jeremiah and went by the name of Thomas harland,Olivers mother was,Mary Harland (Bohan) Winefred Hilda Jones was born at Top Y Rhos in Treuddyn North wales 11th May 1891,to Edward Jones and Ann Jones (Evans),The John you mention was my Uncle who passed away last April (my mothers brother)I have most of their certificates and photoes and lots of info if you want it, Oliver and Winefred married,17th August 1916,27 and 25 years in the register office Auckland,he was a private East yorks regiment living at 5 Coulton terr Merrington and winefred lived at 6 Alexandra Terr Wheatbottom Helmington row,Fathers were Thomas harland X Edward Jones if I can be of anymore help please e mail me egards Glenys
