my mom died on my 34st. Birthday. Very unexpected. It was on Dec 14.2006, and of course close to Christmas as well . She was my best friend. We talked three times a day, or more if needed. The Holidays are not the same, but must carry on for my 8 year old. Mom would be very upset if i did not do the "traditions". I know she is with me all the time, and I can hear her voice, but how do you accept a mom dying on your birthday?? I have come to believe that this is a special happening, and will one day see the meaning. I now celebrate with full force on the 13th. and save the 14th for a quiet day...Display message for printing | Print Entire Thread
