Briggs family from Melourne originally

Im searching our family history,
I was born in Sandringham Vic Australia in 1944.
My fathers name is William Frederick Briggs, and he was born Melbourne Vic. i believe on 9 June 1907? My mother is Annie Lillian Jerome.
We moved to Warracknabeal, Vic in the Wimmera in 1952.

can anyone help ?
