Indian Roll Number

My sister and I are adopted,within the family, the only thing we were ever told about our mother was that she was 1/2 indian Apache, we dont know if any of this is true, but it's the only thing we had to hold on to, about our mother. Her name is Virginia Lee Neaville, her mothers name was Helen Lee Rose, we were told our Grandfather John H. Melvin married her right off the reservation.Other family members said they met her mother and she was difinitly indian. Thankyou for any help.
