Briggs Ancestor

The farthest back I can go is Lewis Briggs (b. 1798) and buried in Western NC. Anyone who knows about this line would help me a lot by sharing information. I have some additional Briggs information about the Civil War Veterans from this area in our family, including ranks, burial places, etc.
