Posted by Frankie <missteenqueen@hotmail.co.uk> on Thu, 08 Jan 2009, in response to PLEASES HELP ME! i want my dad!, posted by rebecca crockett on Mon, 13 Mar 2006
Sorry to say that i can't help you find your dad. And i dont mean to rub things in your face..
I'm also 17, and i didn't see my dad for 9 years of my life, then last April, i met him, this is because i knew where my nan and grandad (his parent's) live.
In great hope that they still lived there, i went there with a mateand was pleased to see they still lived there.
Ileft them my mobile number, then hours later, i had a phone call, it was my dad. It was the happiest day of my life, i went to meet him that evening, i'll never forget the smell he had, i knew then my life was complete cause he and the rest of his family, the missing puzzle peice i needed. I haven't been able to share this story with anyone, so i wanted to let you know that you are not alone, other peoplehave been what you're going through now, so good luck, keep digging, talk to your mum, find out more info...sometimes mums want to protect us and dont give us the full story..i hope your search is succesfull, have you tried searches through facebook?? Or friends reunited?? It may help
Godd luck, once again and if you do meet him, make sure you never lose him again, thatwould be devestating i'msure
