my family tree help

i know little about my family history and i would like to know more about it if at all possible. this is what i know so far. i do know that my family from my dads side originated from england somewhere then relocated to somewhere in new york then just spread out across the us and still some stayed in england. i am 32 years old and i do hope that some one will see this and read what i put and email to my address at janharland1976@comcast.net thanks to anyone who replies back to me.
