Briggs in NY, FLA.

Hello, my grand father and great-grandfather are from Fulton, NY. They all now live in FLA where i was born.
From what ive researched the "Briggs" name is English or a UK-like name. Ive also seen that we Briggs have our own coat of arms, which is very cool. Finally Ive also read on a geanology website that there was a man named William Briggs who arrived on the Mayflower....NO LIE.!!!
