Posted by Mary elder <vonnie@eldersuph.co.uk> on Sun, 13 Apr 2008

Hi everyone. looking for our roots. can any one help finding my Rosscommon Gt Grandparents. Peter Banahan was born in Stoketown CoRosscommon abt 1847 Married Elizabeth, we think in Rosscommon He worked the land as farmers labourer not too sure when he came to England but we have got England census 1881 of Peter living with his family in Gt Crosby/Liverpool the oldest girl being Catherine (my grand mother) at the age of 8. born 1873, may have been born in England. Anyone in Ireland that can help would be very much appreciated.
Many Thanks
