CONRON in Victoria, Australia

Posted by Barry Graham <btgraham@tpg.com.au> on Fri, 11 Apr 2008, in response to Conron/Conran, posted by Peter Ferguson on Sat, 26 Feb 2005

Thomas CONRON, wife Charlotte (Falkiner) CONRON and two sons John and Thomas (and perhaps another unknown) migrated to Canada (possibly Toronto) in the 1840's.
The eldest child Mary Ann (b. c1822 Nenagh) married James SWORDS in Nenagh about 1838 (she was only 15).
They migrated to Victoria about 1840 (first child born Victoria 1841).

Around 1853 Thomas, Charlotte, John and Thomas (both now married with children) migrated from Canada to Victoria.

Does any of this sound familiar?

I am interested in finding the family of Thomas CONRON in Ireland, birth, parents etc.
