Can someone give me advice?

Posted by Amg <pequacheerxo@yahoo.com> on Tue, 01 Apr 2008, in response to Help find my biological dad, posted by Hailey on Thu, 05 Feb 2004

I'm 16 years old and I've never met my biological father. My mom has always played off that my stepdad is my real dad but I know he isn't. She's told me that she met my stepdad when I was two, so obviously not my real dad, and even the school computer's call him my step-father. I've looked at my birth certificate under father and there's no name there. At my elementary school graduation I overheard my mom say something about a man getting in a car accident and it's always stuck with me but I don't know if it was about my dad. I can't seem to build up the courage to tell her I want to know my real dad. I told my grandma once when I was about 10 but nothing ever happened from that. I'm extremely close with my mom so it just stinks holding this secret. I have a sister who I know is my stepdad's child but I hate thinking that she's my stepsister and not my full sister. I just need some help on what people think I should do or how I should bring it up to my mom. I would love to know information about him and mostly about me but I don't know his name. Somebody please help me with this.
