Mi family name is araguz, i am from Leon, a small town in the north of Spain.

By the internet i got in touch with a man called araguz as well, from Leon in Mexico!

I think there is a few people with that name in Cataluņa, Spain, but my family donīt know anybody else related to us.

  I'm from San Antonio,Texas (USA). And so is all the rest of my dads family. I found out there were more Araguz' in McAllen,Texas y Brownsville,Texas. My father met some of them. But we don't know any of them. My family came from Mexico, but I don't remember what part. Hope to hear from you soon. As well as any other Araguz' out there.

  my name is steve and I live in West Pasco, Washington State and I was born in Pharr Tx. to Loretta Araguz daughter of Alfredo Araguz. My mom lives in Grandview Washington. I have just a few cuzins left with our name other than my three daughters named, from oldest to youngest, Claudia Marie Araguz, Dominique Micaela Araguz, and Isabel Lyann Araugz... I am 26 and my daughters are ages 8, 6, and 1yr 3months...<--daddy's baby.......I dont know much of our last name, other than it originates in spain some how or another...the other two in our family is of course Leo Araguz and Freddy Araguz.               My father told me that I was related to the Araguz in Mcallen Tx. My name is Billie Araguz-Webb I live in Port Clinton, Ohio my grandparents were Simmon and Carmen Araguz I have only met a few of the Araguz during my gradfathers funeral which was 17yrs ago so I don't remember any of them because I was young.           As near as I can figure, Araguz definetly sounds like a full blooded Irish name. Then on the other hand it sounds like it might possibly be from a lost Mongolian Tribe in Northern China. There is also a possibility that it might be an Egyptian name. It just does not make sense to me that a person born in the Rio Grande Valley of Tejas, formerly Mexico, would possible be of Mexican heritage, therefore also Native American. What's in a name? I remember meeting a laplander from N.W. Europe near Norway by that same last name. TDC My last name is Cleary, sounds Irish, but I am Native American

Well thats my grandmothers name, and my aunts name...and my baby girls name...pretty kewl huh? i hope that when she grows up, she will realize that her name dates back almost 600 years...very interesting i thought....
